Here I am going to tell about how one should apply for their Passport in India.
Follow this sequence of steps:
* Logon to "www.passportindia.gov.in" or click this
* On the right side of this page you will have Login and Register.
* New users Click on Register and follow the steps to create an account with this Website whereas existing users click Login and check for the passport application status etc.,
* During the time of Registration you will be promted to enter Username and Password.
* This should be remembered for further processes.
* Now, after successful registration login and select new Passport online and fill the form which will lead you to series of steps.
* After all this your application will be accepted
* Now, you have to select "view submitted applications" and select upload supporting documents.
* The documents uploaded must be in .pdf format only.
* For the list of accepted documents click here
This should be used only after you Login.
* After uploading the necessary acceptable documents in pdf format, again goto "view submitted applications" and click "manage appointment".
* Take the application recipt, fees for passport, all hard copies of uploaded documents, Two set of xerox copies of the documents and visit PSK(Passport Seva Kendra) which you selected during managing appointment.
* Be on time sharply.
* After the successful completion of the above, you will be called for police verification and after that your passport will be sent through POST to you.

# Identity card of the College is also Necessary.
# During this process you can login and check the status of your application anytime.(After appointment only)
